Thomas Drake - Estimator and Owner

Thomas started “A New Leaf Painting” out of a personal passion for painting and the satisfaction that comes from helping clients achieve the look and feel they desire for their home or office space. His current role is largely focused on business development, estimating projects, maintaining and improving our customer service, overseeing safety procedures, and the day-to-day operation of the company. He is also dedicated to providing the best customer experience by hiring, training, and retaining quality employees.

Resa Gobs - Administrative Coordinator

Resa has been with the company since November 2021. If you have called our office to schedule an appointment, you’ve probably spoken with her. In addition to being a friendly voice on the phone, she also oversees the paperwork involved with production and budgeting.

Michelle Verrill - Crew Leader

Michelle comes to A New Leaf Painting with over 30 years of professional experience in the painting business. In fact, Thomas and Michelle both worked at the same company over 25 years ago. We are thrilled she is a part of our team! Her close attention to detail and respect for our customer’s needs, make her an excellent fit for our company. When not at work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her hubby and grandchildren.

Billy Terry - Crew Leader

Billy’s upbeat personality and incredible skills make him an ideal crew leader. With more than three decades in the painting industry, Billy has filled every kind of position, from apprentice to crew leader and large commercial project production! Since joining us in 2016, he has proven his dedication to assisting his crew in every way necessary, and his willingness to go the extra mile in an effort to make sure our customers are happy. We are thrilled he is a part of our team! When he is not transforming properties, he is most likely building or fixing some type of engine or spending time with his family.

Johnny Elkins - Crew Leader

Johnny has deeply knowledgeable and extensive painting expertise and brings a wealth of expertise to our company. He will listen to your painting needs and guide you through the process of achieving your optimal paint job. In addition, he supervises and directs several crews of painters throughout the entire job, making sure to communicate with the clients throughout their entire project. Having been a team member at A New Leaf Painting for over 7 years, he knows his stuff! When not taking care of our clients, Johnny enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending time with his family. He makes some AWESOME boiled peanuts!

Michael Mann

Michael has been with us for almost 4 years and has over 20 years of experience in the painting business. Michael brings a wealth of expertise to our company. With more than two decades in the painting industry, Michael has filled every kind of role and position, from apprentice to crew leader and everything in between! We are thrilled he is working with our team so that our clients can benefit from his skills and knowledge.

Robert Garrard - Operations Assistant

Robert has been with us since 2014 and has filled many roles with us. Currently, he provides support for sales, production, administration, and Business Development.
