What we found

  • The exterior showed fading, minor stucco cracking, deteriorated caulking, and other weathered areas from years of exposure to Northeast Florida sun, humidity, rain, and moisture.
  • Access was also a challenge in portions of the backyard. To properly reach and prepare several exterior areas, sections of the pool screen enclosure had to be carefully removed and later reinstalled after the painting work was completed.
  • These conditions were addressed before the new finish coats were applied so the project could be completed thoroughly rather than simply painting around difficult-to-reach areas.

Prep & repairs

  • Our team cleaned and prepared the exterior, addressed visible stucco cracks and failed caulking, completed minor surface repairs, and spot-primed where needed.
  • Detailed masking and protection were also important around the soffits, fascia, stucco, and other architectural details to create clean transitions between the lighter body color and darker accents.

The result

The defining feature of this project was the use of black soffits and fascia against the lighter stucco exterior. This contrast helped sharpen the roofline, highlight architectural details, and give the entire home a more contemporary look without changing the structure of the property. The completed project gave the home a cleaner, more polished exterior with stronger contrast, greater visual depth, and dramatically improved curb appeal. The combination of restored stucco surfaces and bold black roofline details created a modern transformation while maintaining the character of the home.
