A New Leaf Painting Contractors completed this large interior painting transformation for a repeat client in Mandarin, Jacksonville, FL 32258. We had previously painted the exterior of the home about two years earlier, and the homeowners brought us back to refresh a large portion of the interior. The goal was to create a cleaner, brighter, more updated look throughout the home while keeping the occupied space protected, organized, and comfortable during the project. **Project Location:** Mandarin, Jacksonville, FL 32258 **Service Area:** Mandarin, Bartram Park, Julington Creek, Fruit Cove, St. Johns, Switzerland Point, San Jose, Baymeadows, Southside Jacksonville, Jacksonville **Company:** A New Leaf Painting Contractors **Website:** https://www.anewleafpainting.com/

What we found
- The interior showed normal wear along with areas that needed preparation before repainting, including:
- Minor wall imperfections
- Areas needing patching and sanding
- Gaps around trim and transitions
- Worn or dated wall finishes
- Detailed areas around doors, ceilings, baseboards, cabinets, and adjoining surfaces
- Because this was a larger interior repaint, consistency across rooms and transitions was especially important.
Prep & repairs
- Our team carefully protected floors, furniture, cabinets, fixtures, and surrounding finishes before painting began.
- Preparation included:
- Minor wall repairs
- Patching and sanding
- Caulking gaps where needed
- Spot priming
- Careful cutting along ceilings, trim, doors, and baseboards
